Story
Hi! My name is Ayanna Alonso, & I’m the proud owner of Light & Love Laundry Services. I’m a 25 year old SAHM of one, a military veteran and spouse, & a full-time student.
A little about me:
I’m a Georgia peach through & through, my favorite color is purple, & I’m obsessed with shrimp alfredo (homemade sauce only, of course). I’ve loved country music for as long as I can remember, & I enjoy Pilates & ballet—I’ve been dancing since I was 5!
Why I chose laundry:
After having my first child, I quickly realized how overwhelming something as simple as laundry could become. One day, my mother-in-law came over & took care of all our laundry—even put it away. The weight that lifted off my shoulders was unreal, & I couldn’t stop thinking about how impactful that small act of kindness was.
Initially, I didn’t pursue it because I was focused on my lifelong dream of furthering my nursing career. But God had other plans for me. One day, my husband casually asked if I’d ever thought about starting a business. I laughed, but in that moment, the lightbulb went off. I realized this was what I was truly called to do.
And here I am today—ready to serve & make your life just a little bit easier, one load at a time!
